Jack's ????

Hello world !!!!! .....You www browser...., my name is Jack...... . Let me tell you a little about myself.

Well, I was born, at a very young age, ooppps .... Let's start that again .....

I was born in the 40's in a small community in the province of Québec, where I spent over 20 years of my life, went to school and eventually got married !!!!!

I joined the RCAF ( Royal Canadian Air Force ) at the age of 18, and what was suppose to be a three year tour where I was going to learn English ( I am French speaking by the way ) turned out to be a 29 year career !!!!! ...... WOW huh ??? LOL

I retired in 97 after like I said 29 years of service during which time I was employed as a Flight Engineer. The last 12 years of my service, I was flying the C-130 Hercules aircraft. Actively involved in the transport mode, I was lucky to participate in several Human aid missions which will remain in my mind for the rest of my days.... just to mention a few of them, I was in Africa twice to help with famine relief Operations... And also , after the Gulf war I was actively involved in delivering food to those poor Souls that had fled in the mountains to the North of Iraq. Those Operations left very profound marks on me, as I knew in my heart that we were helping a mass of people that needed our help.

I have been pretty well all over the globe at one point or another, and for different purposes, a lot of it was for training. ...So, if you mention a place, chances are I will say yep, been there, done it, bought the T shirt !!!! ....LOL I've been to lots of places and seen lots of airports and hotel rooms, not much more though.... But hey, what else is there to see huh ????... If you've seen the airport and the closest hotel, what would you want to see anyway....????

I am now retired from the Service and full time employed at home, taking care of my lovely bride of 28 years.... YES the same woman !!!!!..... I enjoy the home life as I can devote my time to my computer and graphic arts which I love doing ..... I also enjoy chatting with friends on the net, and I might even be spending a little too much time ( a lot of time actually ) doing that !!!!! LOL
